Based in Hong Kong, local street sculpture artist GoHung questions consumerism and single usage in the first world he has lived in. With the methodology of collecting everyday objects from the street and turning them into street sculptures, GoHung then scatters them back on the streets around the city.
His recent works focus on the imbalance of wealth and anything interconnected with the subject matter that comes across. His works have been publicly shown in Brazil, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iceland, and the United Kingdom.

GoHung’s work depicts the value of “Treat as you want to be treated”, and expands it to the human-to-nature relationship.
With ‘:)’, GoHung would like the viewers to immerse into the experience as a caged bird, a confrontation to the act and decision made by human to other living creatures and mother nature.
